About

A surgeon's skill.A founder's vision.

I trained as a surgeon to heal. I became a founder to build. NuLife is where both meet. After training in obstetrics, gynaecology and advanced laparoscopy in India, I moved to a new country and in 2022 founded NuLife Advanced Fertility Centre in Dar es Salaam, growing it into one of Tanzania's leading fertility centres.

My work centres on infertility and gynaecological laparoscopy. My aim is simple: bring high-quality, advanced fertility treatment within reach of more people, at a cost families can manage, wherever they live.

I believe good fertility care goes beyond the lab. Every couple deserves clear answers, honest guidance and steady support from the first consultation to the day they take their baby home.

Outside the clinic I love to travel, explore new places and get to know new people and cultures.

FAQ

Questions couplesoften ask

Have a question that isn't here? Send me a message on WhatsApp.

When should we see a fertility specialist?

If you are under 35 and have been trying for a year without success, or 35 and over and have been trying for six months, it's time to get checked. Come sooner if periods are irregular or absent, you've had more than one miscarriage, or either partner has a known condition such as endometriosis, PCOS or a low sperm count.

What happens at the first consultation?

We talk through your history, do an ultrasound scan and plan the right tests for both partners. Once the results are in, I explain what they mean and recommend a treatment plan, starting with the simplest option that gives you a real chance.

Is infertility only a woman's problem?

No. Male factors play a part in many couples, which is why both partners are always evaluated from the start.

What is the difference between IUI and IVF?

In IUI, prepared sperm is placed directly in the uterus around ovulation, and fertilisation happens naturally inside the body. In IVF, eggs are collected and fertilised in the lab, and the best embryo is transferred back to the uterus. IVF is used when IUI is unlikely to work or hasn't worked.

How long does an IVF cycle take?

Usually four to six weeks from the start of injections to the pregnancy test: about 10 to 12 days of stimulation, egg collection, embryo transfer a few days later, then a pregnancy test around two weeks after transfer.

Does egg collection hurt?

Egg collection is done under sedation, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. Mild cramping or bloating for a day or two afterwards is common.

What are my chances of success?

It depends mainly on age, the cause of infertility and embryo quality. After your tests, I'll give you an honest estimate for your own situation rather than a general number.

How much does treatment cost?

It depends on the treatment you need. After your consultation, you'll receive a clear, written plan with costs, so there are no surprises.
